Two kinds of client, one method. Nothing is promised until the report has been read.
For individuals
Your credit report is a record of what lenders told the bureau about you. Sometimes that record is wrong. When it is, the fix is not persuasion, it is producing the lender's own evidence and making the reporting match it.
What you receive
- A written assessment of the full report, entry by entry, marking each negative item disputable or accurate and giving the reason
- A scope of work naming the entries we will pursue, the outcome expected on each, and a realistic timeline
- Disputes filed with the bureau holding the record, whether TransUnion CIBIL, Experian, Equifax or CRIF High Mark, and taken up with the lender that reported it
- One consultant on your file from start to finish, reachable directly, updating you as each item moves
- A fresh report at the end, so you can see the change rather than take our word for it
- Written guidance on rebuilding, specific to what your report looks like afterwards
Entries that are usually correctable
- An account shown as live or overdue after it was closed and paid in full
- A default or write-off belonging to a different person with a similar name or a mismatched PAN
- The same loan reported twice, often after a lender changed systems or sold the book
- A status of settled where you paid in full and hold the closure letter
- Personal details that are wrong, including name spelling, PAN, date of birth, address and employer
- Accounts or enquiries opened in your name by someone else
How long it takes
A dispute registered with a bureau is ordinarily resolved within thirty days, provided the lender responds. Where the lender has to correct its own records at source, or where the first response is a rejection that has to be pushed back on, it runs longer, and forty-five to ninety days is common. Your scope of work gives dates for your entries rather than for the average case.
For businesses
A commercial credit report and a CMR rank are built from what your lenders report about overdue days and outstandings. When those figures do not match your books, the rank suffers for a reason that is not real.
- Review of the commercial report and the current rank, pointing at the entries holding it down
- Reconciliation of reported outstandings and overdue days against your ledgers and bank statements
- Disputes raised with the bureau and the reporting lender wherever the figures diverge
- Correction of entity particulars, including constitution, PAN, GSTIN, registered address, partners and directors
- A plain note you can give your banker, setting out what was corrected and when
- Guidance on the reporting behaviour that moves a rank over the next few cycles
Work we turn down
We do not remove accurate information, promise a score or a rank, arrange or guarantee loans, negotiate settlements with your lenders, or collect debt for anyone. If your report turns out to be accurate, we will say so and point you at the rebuild route rather than sell you a dispute we know will fail.
A dispute only succeeds when the lender's own records contradict what was reported. Everything else is noise, and filing it wastes your thirty days. Why we screen before we file
Turning that work down costs us enquiries. It also means the disputes we do file are ones a bureau takes seriously, which is the reason the method works at all.
Send us your credit report
We will tell you what can be corrected and what cannot before any fee is discussed. If nothing on your report can be corrected, we will say so and there is nothing to pay.
