A narrow practice, on purpose
Kenstone Credit is a sole proprietorship in Bengaluru, run by its proprietor, Seethalakshmi J H, with a small team of consultants who each carry files end to end rather than passing them down a queue.
The practice is deliberately narrow. We deal with the accuracy of credit reporting: what lenders have told the bureaus about you, and what can be done when that record is wrong. We do not lend, broker, settle or collect, and we take no commission from anyone whose product you might end up buying. The only money we receive comes from the client whose report we are working on, which is what keeps the advice honest.

How an engagement runs
- Report first. Nothing is quoted, promised or charged before we have read the actual report.
- Then writing. You receive an assessment and a scope of work naming what is disputable, what is not, and what to expect on each item.
- Then a fixed fee. One published amount, agreed up front, with no success component and nothing tied to your loan.
- Then the work. Disputes filed, pursued and closed, with updates as they move.
- Then proof. A fresh report and a closing note saying what changed, what did not, and why.
Things we are not
Not a bank. Not a non-banking financial company. Not a credit bureau or credit information company. Not a loan agent or direct selling agent. Not a debt settlement firm. Not a recovery agency. Not regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, and we do not imply otherwise. We hold no power over any bureau or lender and cannot compel either to change a record that is accurate.
Other businesses using the Kenstone name
The name is used by other businesses that are separate legal entities, with their own registrations, contracts and bank accounts. The services described on this site are provided and invoiced solely by Kenstone Credit, the proprietorship identified above, and payments for them are received only by that firm.
