Questions

The things people ask before they engage us, answered without a sales pitch.

Can you remove a genuine default from my credit report?

No, and neither can anyone else. Where you actually defaulted, settled or paid late, the record stays for the period the credit information rules prescribe. What we correct is reporting that is wrong: an account still shown as live after you closed it, a default belonging to a namesake, one loan reported twice, a settlement recorded although you paid in full.

Can you guarantee my score will reach a particular number?

No. The bureaus calculate scores with their own models, and we have no access to and no influence over that calculation. We can change what goes into it by getting inaccurate entries corrected. Anyone promising you a specific number is selling you something they cannot deliver.

How much does it cost?

A report review is ₹ 999. An individual correction is ₹ 15,000 and a business correction is ₹ 35,000, both fixed for the engagement. The ₹ 999 is adjusted against the correction fee if you go ahead. Full detail is on the pricing page.

Do I pay before you tell me whether anything can be done?

You pay ₹ 999 for the review, which is the work of reading the report and telling you the truth about it. The correction fee is only asked for after you hold the written assessment and the scope of work. If the review finds nothing worth disputing, nothing further is payable.

How long does a correction take?

A dispute registered with a bureau is ordinarily decided within thirty days if the lender responds. Where the lender has to fix its own records, or the first answer is a rejection that has to be pushed back on, forty-five to ninety days is common. Your scope of work carries dates for your entries rather than an average.

What if the correction does not come through?

If we complete the agreed work and the outcome written into your scope has not been achieved, the fee for that item comes back to you, and we raise it ourselves rather than waiting to be asked. The limits are set out under refunds and cancellation.

Are you registered under GST?

No. The firm's turnover is below the threshold at which GST registration becomes compulsory, so no GST is charged on our invoices and the published fee is the whole amount payable.

Are you regulated by the Reserve Bank of India?

No, and we do not claim to be. Credit report counselling is not an RBI-regulated activity. We are a registered proprietorship firm, and our registration details are on the about page for you to verify. If your complaint is against a bank, an NBFC or a credit information company, the RBI ombudsman route is open to you and is described under complaints.

Will you negotiate a settlement or arrange a loan for me?

No. We do not settle, negotiate, lend, broker or collect, and we take no commission from anyone whose product you might buy. The only money we receive comes from the client whose report we are working on.

Which credit bureaus do you work with?

Whichever holds the record in question, being TransUnion CIBIL, Experian, Equifax or CRIF High Mark. We are independent of all of them, and naming them here only identifies which reports our work relates to.

Do I have to come to your office?

No. Everything is handled by email, phone and WhatsApp, and nothing is posted or couriered. Clients in Bengaluru are welcome to sit with a consultant at the registered office by prior appointment.

How do I pay, and is it safe?

You receive an invoice and a secure payment link, and can pay by UPI, card, net banking or bank transfer. We do not accept cash, and nobody at this firm will ever ask you to pay an individual by name or into a personal account. If someone does, call us and say so.

Send us your credit report

We will tell you what can be corrected and what cannot before any fee is discussed. If nothing on your report can be corrected, we will say so and there is nothing to pay.
